The high ranking Pakistan officials will hold meeting with former PM Nawaz Sharif today (Thursday).

LONDON (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif reached London on late Wednesday to meet former prime minister and president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif, Dunya News reported.

Important decision regarding political issues in the country will be taken during a meeting scheduled for today (Thursday). They will also inform the former prime minister regarding major developments in Pakistan s politics.

Sources said that ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who was scheduled to return to Islamabad today, has delayed his return. Sources informed that the holding of the forthcoming general elections will top the agenda of today’s meeting.

Sources further said that the PML-N top leaders will also chalk out a strategy on the expected prospects for delay in the next general elections.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on their arrival in London reached the residence of former prime minister Shaukat Aziz to condole the death of his son.
