It was already decided to punish me at any cost, says Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Disqualified Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday has said that it was already decided to punish him at any cost as he appeared in accountability court hearing National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references against him.
Talking to media at Judicial Complex, Nawaz Sharif said that his struggle for the elimination of dual standard will soon reach its logical conclusion. He stated the judges used such harsh words in the verdict that are normally given by political opponents.
Punishment is not being given but is forcefully implemented, he added.
Former PM said that he has been trapped in Panama Leaks case in the same way he was sentenced in 1999 in plane hijacking case.

Earlier today, Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar appeared in accountability court in which witness of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Sidra Mansoor recorded her statement.
