Bill against Gutka sale presented in Sindh Assembly, uproar at Sugarcane prices
Shehla Raza was calm in assembly in the wake of opposition's plan to table a 'no confidence motion'
KARACHI (Dunya News) – PPP’s assembly member Robina Qaimkhani presented the bill prohibiting Gutaka sales and consumption across the province that was handed over to the committee.
On the other hand, the assembly witnessed uproar when PML-F’s assembly member Saeed Nazamani proposed sugarcane prices. Assembly members representing government and opposition confronted each other over the issue.
The meeting was postponed till Friday morning.
However, Shehla Raza seemed calm in the assembly Tuesday in the wake of opposition’s plan to table a ‘no confidence motion’ after opposition complained of ‘Uncooperative and unpleasant attitude’ on Miss Raza’s part.
