Nawaz Sharif discussed the strategy for the coming elections, says Punjab Law Minister

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has on Monday said that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s (PML-N) stance is whatever its president Nawaz Sharif said while returning to Lahore via GT Road after being ousted from Prime Minister’s office by Supreme Court, reported Dunya News.

Talking to Dunya News on program Nuqta-e-Nazar, Rana Sanaullah said that the meeting was held at former PM’s residence in Jati Umra and it was held with doors open. He told that Nawaz Sharif discussed the strategy for the coming elections in the meeting.

Rana told that the meeting was presided over by Nawaz Sharif and former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar didn’t attend the meeting. It was decided in the meeting, Rana Sanaullah said, that Nawaz Sharif will take full part in the election campaign.

Talking about the Hudaibiyah Paper Mills case against Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah said that none of the five Supreme Court judges, who gave the verdict in Panama case, should have been on the bench for this case. He said that had Justice Asif Saeed Khosa been on the bench, it would have been the first instance in 70-year history.

Responding to a question regarding Khadim Hussain Rizvi, who is currently holding a sit-in in Islamabad along with his supporters, Punjab Law Minister said that 11 out of the 12 demands have been accepted but the dialogue was still going on. He said that Khadim Hussain Rizvi was demanding Federal Law Minister Zahid Hamid’s resignation.

The senior PML-N leader from Faisalabad said that there was no question of debate on the issue of Khatam-e-Nabuwwat. He said that entire nation agreed with what the protestors said on this particular subject.
