Pakistan and US agreed that Raymond Davis case would not affect the Pak, US strategic relationship.

Pakistani Army chief Gen. Ashfaq Kayani met with US Adm. Mike Mullen, Central Command Chief Gen. James Mattis, Commander of Special Operations Adm. Eric Tolson and Gen. David Patraeus in Muscat to discuss regional security problems and explore new strategies to improve military operations. All the officials agreed that Raymond Davis case would be decided at diplomatic level and the case would not affect the war against terrorism. They said that operation across the Pak-Afghan border would be enhanced. They decided to improve the information sharing and cross-border communication.
