No place for technocrat govt in constitution, affirms Raza Rabbani
Raza Rabbani said it is very important to conduct the elections on time.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani has on Saturday affirmed that there is no place for technocrat government in the constitution of Pakistan.
Raza Rabbani said while talking to media that he gets very upset on hearing things related to unconstitutional actions, and admitted that everything is not right in the country at the moment. He said it is very important to conduct the elections on time.
The senate chairman further added that a case was lodged against former president Pervez Musharraf, but the state could not bring him to courts and he fled the country.
The sad thing is that Pervez Musharraf comments on Pakistan’s politics while sitting abroad, remarked Raza Rabbani.
He maintained that it is strongly required by Pakistan in the current internal as well external situation that all institutions under the constitution must work within their jurisdictions.
