Taxila: Two terrorists arrested, arms, explosive material seized
Police arrested two terrorists during operation in mountainous region of Taxila on Friday.
TAXILA (Dunya News) – At least two terrorists were taken into custody during police operation in the mountainous region of Taxila near Rawalpindi on Friday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police officer Azhar Gondal along with other officials of Taxila Police Station conducted a raid on a tip-off at a house situated in the mountainous region of Taxila and arrested two terrorists. The arrested persons were identified as Javed and Sajjad.
Police also recovered 200 detonators, 500-metre cable, 15 packets of explosive material and latest weapons from the arrested terrorists.
Police sources said that the terrorists had hidden the explosive material and arms in the house and were planning to target sensitive installation in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
