Blaze gutted timber godown in Muridke
Fire in a timber godown at Narowal Road in Muridke caused millions of rupees loss.
MURIDKE (Dunya News) - According to details, fire broke out in a timber godown situated at the Narowal Road near Railway Crossing in Muridke on Thursday which spread very quickly.
Firefighters from Shahdara were called in as there is no fire station in Muridke but the timber godown was reduced to ashes before their arrival.
The rescue sources said that no one died or wounded in the blaze. However, goods worth million of rupees were destroyed by the fire. Sources further said that the cause of fire is still not known.
