Model Town incident: LHC to hear pleas regarding judicial inquiry on September 25

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Lahore High Court (LHC) full bench will hear pleas pertaining to the judicial inquiry in Model Town incident on September 25.
A three-member full bench headed by acting Chief Justice LHC Justice Yawar Ali will conduct hearing over the petitions.
The petitions while raising objections over the formation of judicial commission has requested to bring forward its report.
The full bench will hear the miscellaneous petition filed by advocate Azhar Siddiqui which has called for dismissing the pleas filed against the formation of judicial commission.
The contrasting pleas over the same issue were filed in 2014 and were under hearing before a full-member bench of LHC.
The bench was dissolved twice due to the retirement of the judges and this the third time that another bench has been formed to hear the petitions.
