Karachi: Water still stuck in Gulbahar, heaps of wastes pollute Gulshan-e-Iqbal
Recent rains have wreaked havoc in Karachi, several places couldnt observe Eid prayers even
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – The insensitivity of the Karachi administration has seen new heights this Eid al-Azha as heaps of wastes pollute Gulshan-e-Iqbal and water is still stuck in Gulbahar at the same time, reported Dunya News.
Kashmiri Mohalla and Ghareeb Nawaz Mohalla are still several feet deep in water while there are heaps of garbage polluting various areas of the city. This is for the first time that a mosque and Imam-Bargaar made in 1952 missed the Eid prayers for the first time.

Hapless, helpless people are still trying to drain off the water from their areas. There is so much water and so much garbage around that people are forced to live at the rooftops.
Dunya News team encountered angry people across the city while several areas haven’t yet even been visited by the government staff.
