Disgruntled PTI MPA from KP Ziaullah Khan has challenged his party chairman for debate

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Disgruntled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA and former provincial minister, Ziaullah Afridi, slammed his party chairman Imran Khan as well as Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj-ul-Haq for remaining silent on the Bank of Khyber scandal.

He highlighted the illegal appointment of BOK managing director (MD), giving protest call against the claims of accountability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Afridi complained that BOK MD Shams Ul Qayyum along with Rashid Khan is involved in corruption worth billions. “KP CM Pervez Khattak is involved in corrupt practices in various departments,” he accused.

Talking about the accountability in KP, he said those who claimed about across the board accountability have failed to do so by locking down accountability commission. Siraj-ul-Haq and Imran Khan remained silent on illegal appointment of BOK MD despite huge claims, he added.

He said, “Both PTI and JI have supported each other in corruption.” Afridi demanded of holding KP CM Pervez Khattak and provincial finance minister Muzaffar Syed accountable over corrupt practices.
