Shehbaz Sharif chaired meeting to finalize the arrangements for 70th independence day celebrations.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - At the conclusion of a meeting to finalize the arrangements for 70th independence day celebrations, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif got emotional over the present state of affairs and opened his heart out.
He poignantly stated: "While other nations have marched ahead, why do we continue to lag behind and are mired in plethora of problems? Why has a sense of national purpose not been developed? Why have we failed to carry on the ethos of 1940s?"
The Chief Minister said hardwork, sacrifice and selflessness are ingredients that put the nations on pedestal of glory and infuse in them a spirit to dream and then realize them.
