Khawaja Saad Rafique said that he had refused to take up ministry of science and technology

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said on Friday that lawmakers are not as  despicable  as people think of them.

The federal minister addressed a gathering in the federal capital and during his speech he said that the lawmakers are not as bad as the people think of them and that the credit of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) goes to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.

He said that the ruling party wishes to give a prospering Pakistan to the future generations.

He said that Pakistanis proved the country a democratic state despite bearing martial laws. Rafique said that all political parties do not come true on definition of democratic organisations.

Pakistan’s political parties have matured and some parties would take time to mature.

Khawaja Saad Rafique said that he had refused to take up ministry of science and technology citing his incapability to lead the field.
