Heirs of martyred to be given Rs50 lakhs: Sindh IG

MIRPUR KHAS (Dunya News)- Sindh Inspector-General (IG) Allah Dino Khawaja has announced that from now onwards relatives of martyred police personnel would be given two jobs while the compensation money has also been surged to Rs50lacs from Rs20lacs.
He expressed these views during Eid Milan party.
“Sindh police has sublime tradition of not forgetting families of those who embrace martyrdom in line of duty,” Khawaja told participants.
“We (Sindh police) are crafting policies to provide dowry to the daughters of martyred personnel and to bear educational expenses of their children,” added Khawaja.
At the end of ceremony, Khawaja distributed Eid gifts among participants.
