11 killed, one injured as passenger lift collapses in Murree
The lift caved in due to its dilapidated condition
MURREE (Dunya News) – At least 11 people have lost their lives while one sustained severe wounds as passenger lift collapsed near Banwari in Murree today (Thursday).
According to the details, the lift caved in due to its dilapidated condition as the locals made it without proper construction process to join two villages.

Getting information about the incident, rescue officials arrived at the scene and shifted the injured and dead bodies to Rawalpindi hospital for further medical assistance.
However, the tourists have also been warned to take precautionary measures while traveling.
The families of the victims staged protest by keeping the bodies on the road whereas Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has expressed grief over the sad incident.
