Rehman Malik to appear before Panama JIT today
Ex-interior minister Rehman Malik has announced to tell the whole truth in his appearance before JIT
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Former interior minister and senior PPP leader Senator Rehman Malik will appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to investigate Panama case today (Friday).
Talking to Dunya News on the eve of his appearance before the JIT, Rehman Malik said that if the investigations against the Sharif family in the late 90’s were private then how were five FIRs were registered against them.
Rehman Malik made it clear that he would appear before the JIT as former Additional Direction General of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Malik said whatever he said in the correspondence from abroad during his days of suspension, he did as the officer of the FIA and owns the report which he submitted to then president in late 90’s.
