Suggestion to reduce salaries of government officials rejected

Representative of PML-N and member of team for negotiating with government committee Pervez Rashid has said that his party has refused to reduce the salaries of government officials by 25%.

Talking to Dunya News in Islamabad, Pervez Rashid said that PML-N has suggested to reduce the expenses of Prime Minister House, Federal Ministers and Members of Parliament. On this occasion, Ishaq Dar said that if 25% reduction in salries of government officials is done, then almost 1 to 1.5 billion rupees per month will be saved but it will add problems to thousands of families; therefore this suggestion has been rejected.
