Fazal ur Rehmans reservations on Presidents roundtable conference

In the meeting of President Zardari and Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, President told him about the performance of government but Maulana was not satisfied at all.

Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman expressed his reservations upon the roundtable conference called by President Zardari. President Zardari has directed Prime Minister Gilani to meet Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman. According to JUI (F) sources, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman’s point of view is that there are ongoing protests in the country regarding change in blasphemy law but the government is not moved at all. Sources also told that President Zardari told Maulana about the performance of government in a one-on-one meeting but Maulana did not get satisfied. Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will meet Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman today evening. In a meeting held between President Zardari and Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman yesterday morning, President took Maulana in confidence regarding the roundtable conference and Raymond Davis issue. President also assured Maulana that there would be no changes made in the blasphemy law.
