EC summons Daniyal Aziz over Contempt of court allegation
Election Commission issued notice to Daniyal Aziz over Contempt of court application.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission (EC) has summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz to appear today (Wednesday) over Contempt of court allegation.
According to details, contempt of court application was filed by Mahmood Ahmad Joya. The applicant took the stance that a contempt of court proceeding should be initiated against Danyal Aziz for accusing Election Commission of discrimination and defaming the institution.
Election Commission issued notice to Daniyal Aziz and asked him to appear today. Copy of the notice has also been sent to secretary National Assembly and Election Commissioner Punjab.
