6 killed in bus, truck collision in Khanewal
Six people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Khanewal on Thursday.
KHANEWAL (Dunya News) – At least six people were killed and 18 others were wounded when a bus collided head-on with a truck in Khanewal on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a bus going to Multan from Faisalabad collided head-on with a truck near Pull Bagar at the Jhang Road in Khanewal, killing six persons on the spot and wounding 18 others.
Rescue teams retrieved the dead and injured after cutting the body of the bus and shifted them to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Later, five critically injured people were shifted to Nishtar Hospital, Multan.
