Ropeways transport system to be introduced in Lahore
CM Shehbaz said that international company has expressed willingness to work with Punjab govt.
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday has directed to prepare feasibility report on installation of ropeways transport system at as many as three different localities in Lahore, reported Lahore News.
Chairing a meeting in Lahore, CM Shehbaz said that international company has expressed willingness to work on this project with Punjab government after which the authorities have been given green signal to start paper work on it.
The areas to be facilitated will be from Imamia Colony to Railway Station, Jehangir Tomb to Greater Iqbal Park, Jalo Mor to Thokar Niaz Baig and one from Islamabad to Murree.
The meeting was also attended by provincial ministers Chaudhry Sher Ali, Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, transport and environment secretaries, Managing Director of Punjab Masstransit Authority and Lahore Commissioner Abdullah Sumbal.
