Karachi: Gang war accused killed in police encounter
Police also apprehended 17 accused during separate operations in Karachu on Wednesday.
LARACHI (Dunya News) – Police conducted an operation in Chakiwara area of Lyari on Wednesday during which gang war accused opened fire at police. The police officials returned the fire as a result one gang war operative was killed.
Police sources said that the deceased was member of Ghaffar Zikri group. Police have also recovered a TT pistol from his possession.
Separately, Rizvia Police have claimed to arrest an accused involved in Amjad Sabri murder case. Police sources said that accused Raheel is an associate of under custody accused Asim Capri and activist of a banned outfit.
On the other hand, police have arrested five dacoits during an operation in Orangi Town and recovered arms and looted cash from their possession.
Police also apprehended three accused during operation in Awami Colony while two street criminals was also rounded up. Police have also recovered arms and mobile phones from them.
Police also conducted operations in Mominabad and Gulshan areas and apprehended two gang war accused and five drug peddlers.
