US cuts down 40pc visas for Pakistan, increases 28pc for India

78637 visas were overall issued to Pakistanis in 2016.

WASHINGTON (Dunya News) – Although Pakistan is not on the list of the United States President’s travel ban countries, still 40 percent visas for its nationals have been cut down by America, and 28 percent have been increased for India.

According to a British newspaper, a significant drop has been witnessed in number of non-immigrant visas for Pakistanis after the executive order issued by US President Donald Trump regarding the foreigners.

3925 visas to Pakistanis were issued in April, and 3973 were issued in March that are 40 percent less than those issued in the reign of Former President Barack Obama. 78637 visas were overall issued to Pakistanis in 2016.
