General Zubair Hayat awarded highest Saudi military decoration
General Hayat is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Zubair Mehmood Hayat has been conferred on highest military decoration of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
Inter-Services Public Relations reported that General Hayat was conferred on ‘King Abdul Aziz Medal of Excellence’ and he convened a meeting with King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.
Media cell of the military reported that Saudi leader acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in war on terror and to maintain peace and stability in the region.
"He also called on General Abdur Rehman bin Saleh Al-Bunyan, Chief of General Staff, Royal Saudi Armed Forces at Jeddah. Regional security issues and matters of bilateral interests were discussed. HM King Salman appreciated Pakistan s fight against terrorism and continued efforts for peace and stability in the region," ISPR reported.
