Sindh IG suspends SHO for bowing down to intoxicated feudal lord
Zaid Talpur misbehaved with SHO and ordered him to sit on floor.
KUNRI (Dunya News) – Sindh IG has suspended Station House Officer (SHO) of Kunri police station for apologizing from intoxicated feudal lord in Umerkot district.
According to details, the feudal lord identified as Zaid Talpur reached Kunri police station on hearing the news that FIR has been lodged against his companions in the police station, and started bullying the SHO.
Zaid Talpur, being surrounded with companions, sat on the chair of SHO and started to misbehave with him. The SHO requested him to leave the chair, and also apologized from him.
Zaid Talpur, the nephew of Yousuf Talpur, not only refused to standup, but also ordered the SHO to sit on floor.
Sindh IG took notice of the incident and suspended the SHO for not taking action against the feudal lord. Furthermore, Sindh IG has directed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sher Shah to report to central office.
It is pertinent here to mention that no action has been taken against Zaid Talpur yet, and police are even unaware of his location.
