Govt declares Easter holiday for Christian community
The announcement as to Easter holiday has been made on the directions of PM Nawaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Interior Ministry has announced a public holiday for Christian community on 17th April, reported Dunya News.
According to the ministry spokesperson, the decision regards to holiday has been made because of Easter falling on the same date.
It has been reported that the implications of the holiday will be on all the christians who are serving in government institutions.
The announcement as to Easter holiday has been made on the directions of PM Nawaz Sharif.
