Court orders interior ministry to submit details in Musharraf treason case
Justice Yahya Afridi observed that objections have been raised over the confiscation orders
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The special court has ordered the interior ministry to submit property details of the former president General Pervaiz Musharraf as it resumes the hearing in treason case.
Justice Yahya Afridi observed that objections have been raised over the confiscation orders of Musharraf’s property by the court.
The court inquired at the occasion as to whether the special court could order the confiscation of Musharraf’s foreign property.
Moreover, the court also inquired as if further orders are necessary in regards to confiscation of property.
The special court remarked that both the parties should co-operate with the court in the matter.
The court also ordered the prosecutor to submit its recommendations in written form.
The hearing of the case was adjouned till May 5.
