Transportation projects crucial for economic prosperity: PM
Nawaz Sharif believes that the social, economic condition of people depend on transport services
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A high level meeting was chaired by PM Nawaz Sharif in the capital on Thursday. The discussion was held for transportation and road networking.
FWO’s General Mohammad Afzal, NHA Chairman Shahid Ashraf and CDA Chairman Sheikh Ansar Aziz briefed the gathering on several projects including the metro bus from Peshawar Motorway to New Islamabad International Airport.
While addressing the meeting, Nawaz Sharif told that road network and transportation projects held significance in economic growth of a country. He said that the road network would join distant cities, adding that it would change social and economic conditions for people.
He ordered the officials to complete projects on time and advised them not to compromise on anything.
