Javed Latif lambasted Chairman of PTI, Imran Khan for allegedly justifying Murad Saeed's actions
(Web Desk) – Member of National Assembly, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Javed Latif has offered an ‘apology’ on Friday over his ‘lewd remarks’ against MNA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Murad Saeed yesterday.
The National Assembly member talked to the media outside the parliament today and refused to say whether his remarks against Saeed were ‘right or wrong’ but accepted that he should not have passed such remarks.
The statement of Latif has come a day after a scuffle broke out between the two after a session of the National Assembly was adjourned.
Videos televised later yesterday revealed that PML-N’s MNA had passed alleged lewd remarks that prompted Saeed to attempt to land a punch on his face.
Speaker of the National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq said today that their heads hang in shame over the incident yesterday. Sadiq had ordered an inquiry into the issue after the clash was reported.
