Sardar Ayaz Sadiq gave his remarks on fight between Javed Latif and Murad Saeed.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Giving his remarks on fight between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Murad Saeed and Pakistan Muslime League (PML-N) lawmaker Javed Latif in the Parliament’s lobby, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that their heads hang in shame over the incident.

“Yesterday’s incident was not just regrettable for those involved in it. Our heads hang in shame as well,” the Speaker said.

He urged the members of the parliament to show patience.

According to details, Murad Saeed punched Javed Latif in the face outside parliament lobby when latter criticised PTI Chairman Imran Khan on his statement regarding foreign players. Murad Saeed also alleged that Javed Latif called his leader ‘traitor’.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has accused Latif of using abusive language against Murad Saeed’s female family members.

Earlier, Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani and Speaker NA Sardar Ayaz Sadiq unveiled a monument constructed in the Parliament House Lawn in Islamabad to pay tributes to unsung heroes of democracy.

In their speeches, the custodians of the two houses vowed to work together for supremacy of the Constitution, rule of law and strengthening of the democratic system.

Chairman Senate said no society can flourish if it does not remember its heroes and those who rendered sacrifices for the cause of the country, its values and democracy.

He regretted that in the past the state disfigured those sections of the society which were instrumental for the cause of rule of law, the constitution and the parliament.

He said it was duty of the Chairman Senate and the Speaker National Assembly to do something to pay tributes to these segments of the society.
