Azad Kashmir declared 'occupied' in private schools' syllabus

The publishers have formally apologized to the PEIRA.

ISLAMABAD (Daily Dunya) – Azad Kashmir has been declared as ‘occupied’ in Social Studies’ book of fifth grade in various private schools.

Sources told that government has not taken any action against the publishers however, Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has banned the book.

On the other hand, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Sehar Kamran has informed the higher authorities about the mistake.

“We are leading our future to the wrong direction as we are doing such things which our enemies want to do”, he added.

The publishers have also formally apologized to the PEIRA.
