Sukkur: Dacoit killed in police encounter
One dacoit was killed in encounter with police near Sukkur and two others managed to escape.
SUKKUR (Dunya News) – According to details, one dacoit was killed in an encounter with police at the National Highway in the jurisdiction of Pannu Aqil Biyjee Police Station near Sukkur on Friday while two of his accomplices manged to escape from the scene.
Police sources said that the dead dacoit was identified as Ubaid. Police have also recovered a Kalashnikov from his possession.
Police sources further informed that the dead dacoit was wanted in more than 19 cases. According to SSP Sukkur, search is on to arrest the other dacoits.
