KARACHI (Dunya News) – Maula Bakhsh Chandio among three advisors and eight special assistants to Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah have resigned following an order of Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday.
Advisor to Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh on Labour and Human Resources, Saeed Ghani, Advisor to CM on Mines and Mineral Development, Asghar Junejo and Advisor to CM on Information, Maula Bakhsh Chandio have tendered their resignations besdies eight special assistants after the high court objected to advisors enjoying facilities that of ministers in November 2016.
The high court directed the Government of Sindh today to de-notify Ghani, Chandio and Asghar Junejo. Besides advisors tendering their resignations, eight special assistants of Sindh CM have also resigned today.
During a hearing of a contempt of court case today against the provincial government, bench headed by Chief Justice (CJ) of SHC, Sajjad Ali Shah demanded of chief law officer to provide de-notifying notifications of advisors as the high court had directed two months ago.
The court has also instructed the government to provide emolument details of Saeed Ghani, Chandio and Soomro that they have received after verdict of the high court for their sacking was given.
It should be mentioned here that the government had de-notified former advisor to CM, Murtaza Wahab a few days ago after his appointment was declared illegal by the high court in November 2016.
