Karachi: Water Board allegedly involved in receiving commission
Water is being supplied to houses in drums and cans
KARACHI (Dunya News) – As water deficiency goes to its extremes in certain parts of the city, it has been reported that the Water Board has allegedly been involved in receiving commission from the illegal occupancy mafia based in Mahmood Abad water pumping station.
On one side where the inhabitants are finding it hard to find water, news of sale of this precious commodity under the backing of Water Board have also surfaced on the other side.
It has also been reported that water is being supplied by the mentioned mafia to houses in drums and cans.
The locals have demanded that the government should take notice of the negligence of Water Board.
