Report filed in SC states Tayyaba was tortured, starved
Reportedly, she was made to sleep in cold without warm clothing and blanket
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Report filed in the Supreme Court (SC) confirms that minor girl named Tayyaba who served as maid at Additional Sessions Judge, Raja Khurram’s residence was tortured and starved.
Police have filed a report in the SC in which neighbours of the additional sessions judge have asserted that the underage maid was often tortured. According to the report, Tayyaba was tortured by Maheen Zafar, wife of the judge after she allegedly misplace broom.
Reportedly, she was made to sleep in cold without warm clothing and blanket.
Previously, the police have held Zafar responsible for torturing Tayyaba in a challan filed in the trial court. Reportedly, a challan involving Section-328/200A
Meanwhile, the authorities have received reports of DNA test and medical checkup of the alleged victim. The hearing of the suo moto action has been adjourned until Wednesday.
Earlier, the accused couple recorded their statements before the police in which they claimed of treating the minor like they treat their children and denied the allegations.
