CM Shehbaz condoles death of Punjab Governor's nephew
The Chief Minister convened a meeting with PML-N's lawmakers in Multan
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif condoled death of Governor of Punjab, Rafeeq Rajwana’s nephew, Ilyas Rajwana with the family on Friday during a brief visit.
CM Shehbaz also convened a meeting with Members of Provincial Assembly (MPA) belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and discussed latest political situation in South Punjab.
On the occasion, Commissioner Asadullah Khan briefed the Chief Minister over reasons to extend deadline of metro bus project for the third time. CM Shehbaz directed for completion of the project as soon as possible.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister addressed a ceremony of Educational Endowment Fund in Bahawalpur and urged the people to not compromise on education of their children.
In his address, CM Shehbaz also asserted that energy crisis in the country would be curbed by the end of 2017.
