Pakistan to supply 52 Super Mushshak jets to Turkey
Another agreement with Ukraine for up-gradation of Al-Khalid tanks was signed
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain on Wednesday said that Pakistan has signed a deal with Turkey to supply 52 Super Mushshak aircrafts.
Talking to media at IDEAS 2016 in Karachi, Rana Tanveer said the deal will strengthen ties between two brotherly countries and will result in huge foreign exchange for Pakistan.
He said the jets have a service ceiling of 22,000 feet with a maximum speed of 268km/h while the range of the aircrafts is being recorded at 814 kilometres.
“Development of fleet tanker by Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KSEW), in collaboration with Turkey, is another example of close relationship in the field of defence production between two countries”, he added.
The minister also announced that another agreement with Ukraine for up-gradation of Al-Khalid tanks was signed while Russia’s biggest department has also offered cooperation with Pakistan.
