PML-N outclasses opponents in Lahore Metropolitan elections

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The ruling party PML-N made a clean sweep on special seats elections of Lahore Metropolitan Corporation as the last phase gets complete.
The polling process took place at Town Hall as PML-N and PTI competed for different seats during the elections.
For special seats reserved for women, PML-N, PTI and four independent candidates for 25 seats out of which 24 seats belonged to PML-N while PTI only manage to win one seat.
Over 10 seats reserved for minorities, PML-N made a clean-sweep and won all the seats.
The workers danced to the beats of drums over their victories.
Union Councils elections would be held on Nov 19.
