Relatives demand justice after two 'innocent' brothers executed at Bahawalpur jail
Justice Akram Qureshi declared jail officials and local court as guilty in the incident.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Bereaved family of two innocent brothers, who were hanged in Bahawalpur jail despite Supreme Court’s acquittal orders, is seeking justice from Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Talking exclusively in Dunya News, Justice retired Akram Qureshi declared jail officials and local court who issued black warrants of the siblings as guilty in the incident.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sadiqabad’s locals Ghulam Qadar and Ghulam Sarwar were executed last year beacause of negligence of the staffers.
SC had issued acquittal orders of both brothers and ordered detention of real accused in triple murder case.
However, the police have not yet reopened the case to nab the prime culprits.
