Conspiracy being hatched to dismember MQM, Farooq Sattar claims
Dr Sattar has demanded efforts on parts of federal, provincial govts for recovery of missing workers
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Dr Farooq Sattar, chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan has asserted that a conspiracy aiming to dismember the political organisation is being hatched.
In an address to media in Korangi area, Dr Sattar said that responsibility of recovery of missing workers of the party lied with the federal and provincial governments. He hailed party’s vote bank as its real strength.
He said that all the missing activists of the political party must be recovered and both the governments besides the law enforcement agencies were responsible in the issue.
Dr Sattar announced to file a collective petition seeking recovery of around 130 missing workers of the political party would be filed in the Supreme Court.
Over a month ago, MQM underwent a historic structural change when founder of the party was detached with the party after an anti-state speech.
Dr Farooq Sattar took charge of the party in Pakistan while representatives of MQM London held their first ever formal press conference a couple of days ago in which he denied any difference between the two chapters.
It should also be said here that Dr Sattar’s statement today has come in a day after a meeting of MQM Pakistan was held following MQM London’s press talk.
