5 ministries transferred to provinces, fate of 3700 employees at stake
After the 18th amendment of the constitution, 5 ministries have been transferred to the provinces today while atleast the fate of 3700 employees remains at stake, Dunya News reported on Tuesday. After the transfer of ministries, 5 ministries, 1 parliamentary secreatry and 7 parliamentary standing committees have dissolved automatically whereas no decision has been taken as yet about the fate and future of 3700 employees working in these ministries. Dr. Firdous Aashiq Awan has left only with the ministry of women development. After the transfer of ministries, Lal Khan, Masood Abbas and Noor-ul-Haq Qardi have become ministers without any portfolio. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has summoned a meeting today to analyze the situation emerging after the transfer and also to discuss and consider the assets' details of the transferred ministries and their employees. The Sindh government has received documentary details of all the assets of the 4 ministries and also the details of their employees. CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah summoned a meeting today in which the concerned details of ministries and their respective employee would be discussed.
