Nisar suspends DG Nadra, hiring committee over irregularities

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has suspended the entire hiring committee of National Database and Registration Authority and the Director General on Friday.
The Interior Minister presided over a meeting of Nadra board in the federal capital today.
The suspension came in as irregularities surfaced upon discussion over the rented building. Reportedly, the building was rented for Rs 4.5 million per month.
Violations of the law and irregularities were revealed during the meeting after which the Federal Interior Minister took action.
The development has come in weeks after Nisar warned the officials of working to close the loopholes in the system and better their administration to avoid suspension.
