Money laundering case: Scotland Yard charges against MQM chief legitimate

Crown Prosecution Service declared all evidences provided by Scotland Yard as satisfactory.

LONDON (Dunya News) - British Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has declared all evidences provided by Scotland Yard in regard to money laundering case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief and others as satisfactory and legitimate and said that their case be tried in the court.

The Scotland Yard had sent the evidences in money laundering case against MQM chief and other persons including Muhammad Anwar, Tariq Mir and Sarfaraz Merchant to the Crown Prosecution Service to sought legal help.

Sources said that case against these individuals will be brought to the court for trial in the next few days. Sources further said that MQM chief, Muhammad Anwar, Tariq Mir and Sarfaraz Merchant are now bound to serve their defence in the case by Oct 26.
