PM Nawaz phones General Raheel Sharif ahead of UNGA address
Analysts say that political and military leadership is united to confront the Indian aggression.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif telephoned COAS General Raheel Sharif on late Tuesday night and discussed Occupied Kashmir and regional situation, Dunya News reported.
Both Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and COAS General Raheel Sharif also discussed the issue of Indian propaganda during their conversation.
Political analysts are of the view that political and military leadership is united to confront the Indian aggression.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly (UNGA) today (Wednesday) during which he will prominently raise the issue of human rights violations in the Indian-held Kashmir.
Nawaz Sharif is likely to devote a large part of his address to the UN General Assembly for exposing Indian human rights abuses in the Occupied Kashmir. He will also urge the world body to intervene to enforce UN resolutions for a plebiscite in Kashmir.
