One alleged terrorist killed, four escape during anti-terrorism operation in Gujrat
The raid was conducted in Rakh Pabbi area of Gujrat
GUJRAT (Dunya News) – One terrorist was killed and four others managed to escape as counter-terrorism force conducted raid in Gujrat on Wednesday morning.
According to details, the security forces faced armed resistance as they conducted a raid in Rakh Pabbi area of Gujrat.
In retaliation, one terrorist was killed while four others managed to escape from the scene. Two hand grenades and firearms were also confiscated from the location.
CTD authorities reported that terrorists were planning to target security officials in the area. Search is underway for other terrorists.
The law enforcement agencies have expedited anti-terrorism operation across the country after this month’s attack on lawyers at Quetta civil hospital that claimed more than 70 lives.
During ongoing combing operations, more than 150 suspected terrorists belonging to banned TTP and Al-Qaeda have been arrested in Punjab till now.
