Sindh CM pays visit to school administered by social welfare organisation
Karachi's garbage cannot be cleared within a day or two, says Murad Ali Shah
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday paid visit to DCTO Kiran Foundation School located in Lyari’s Moosa Lane area and met the students there, reported Dunya News.
Murad Ali Shah was accompanied by provincial education minister Jam Mehtab Dahar during his visit to the school which is being administered by a social welfare organisation. Shah visited different classrooms of the school, met with the teachers and also observed the children’s musical performance.
While addressing to the media later on, Sindh CM stated that he shall take action against those who were not responsible enough regarding their posts, adding that the government intended to improve the condition of the government schools through the public-private sector. He added that the garbage present in Karachi cannot be cleaned within a day or two.
On his way back to CM House, Lyari residents blocked the road from where Murad Ali Shah was passing while protesting against water and power shortage. However, police officers were quick to react and were able to clear the road within a few minutes.
