Iranian President telephones President Zardari, exchanges Eid greetings
Iranian President Ahmadinejad has telephoned President Asif Ali Zardari and exchanged Eid greetings. He also expressed sympathies with flood victims and over the loss of life and property due to floods.Iranian President expressed the hope that the people of Pakistan will soon overcome the devastation caused by floods. President Zardari reciprocated Eid greetings and thanked the Iranian government for its timely assistance to the flood victims. He said that the resilient people of Pakistan had successfully faced many crises and will also emerge triumphant from the current challenges posed by floods. President Zardari asked the Iranian President to convey his best wishes and greetings to the people of Iran on the auspicious occasion of Eid. The two leaders also talked about bilateral matters and expressed the hope to meet sometime soon.
