Karachi: 3 terrorist arrested during CTD operation
CTD conducted an operation in Karachis Manghupir area and apprehended three terrorists.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday carried out an operation in Manghupir area and arrested three terrorists, including a suicide bomber, of a banned outfit, Dunya News reported.
According to in charge CTD, Ali Raza, the arrested terrorists were identified as Saif-ur-Rehman alias Buddha, Taj Muhammad alias Salman and Adil and belonged to Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swat group.
Police sources informed that Taj Muhammad alias Salman was recruited as suicide bomber by TTP West commander. Sources further informed that the arrested terrorists were under the command of a militant from Punjab Qari Samiullah.
