Irfan Ali says online system is working fine and there's no truth to the rumours of its failure

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Punjab Higher Education Secretary Irfan Ali has rejected the rumours that process of academic staff’s transfer/posting and new recruitment in government colleges across the province has been delayed due to failure of the online system.

In a statement, Irfan Ali said that the process of academic staff’s transfer/posting will be completed in few days, adding that merit policy will be followed strictly. “Our online system is working properly and computerised data of all the colleges is available; there is no chance of violation of transfer policy,” he said.

Punjab Higher Education department has introduced online system for transfer/posting of teaching staff to ensure transparency and has also sought applications under the new system from willing teachers.

He told that Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had also issued clear directions in this regard.
