Chaudhry Nisar, COAS leave for Karachi to review law and order situation

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar along with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and National Security Adviser (NSA) Lieutenant General (retd) Nasir Khan Janjua left for Karachi to review law and order situation in the metropolis, reported on Sunday.

According to details, a meeting has been called at Corps Headquarters.

The meeting headed by General Raheel Sharif will be attended by Director General (DG) Military Intelligence (MI), DG Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), DG Military Operation, National Security Adviser (NSA) Lieutenant General (retd) Nasir Khan Janjua, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad.

DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar will give a detail briefing of the ongoing Karachi operation and will also inform the participants about the kidnapping of Sindh High Court chief justice s son Awais Shah and the assassination of famed qawwal Amjad Sabri.

Important decisions are likely to be made in the meeting alongwith intensifying the Karachi operation.

Chaudhry Nisar will also meet Governor Sindh and Chief Justice (CJ) Sindh High Court (SHC) Sajjad Ali Shah.

On the other hand, the authorities have geared up the Karachi operation to nab the criminals behind famous qawwal Amjad Sabri’s assassination and abduction of Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice’s son Awais Shah.
